If you're getting married in peak season (summer or fall), we recommend booking your bridal appointment 9–12 months in advance. 3. Bringing the Right People- Who to bring to bridal appointment? We know how exciting it is to share the moment—but too many opinions can get overwhelming for the bride. We Recommend bringing up to 3 guest with occasional circumstances when a bride may need a few extra guests. Choose the people who know your style, support your decisions, and make you feel your best. We love a crew that has their bride's best interests at heart. 4. Wear the Right Undergarments - What to wear to try on dresses? This a little bit of a grey area, I always default to whatever the bride feel the most comfortable in. A strapless bra or no bra at all, nude underwear, and shapewear (only if you w ant to.) are perfect for trying on dresses. No neon undies while trying on, You can see it through the dresses. 5. Keep an Open Mind This is a big one.  While shopping for your wedding dress, be open and try on all difference styles.  You can look at inspiration but you just never know until the dress is on your body. Some brides come with a specific visions or photo's they saved.  While i t ’s great to come in with a vision, it's more important to keep an open mind. This three-day immersive experience was filled with inspiration, trend-spotting, and invaluable face-to-face time with some of the most esteemed designers in the bridal industry. At New Ivory Bridal, our mission is to curate a collection of wedding gowns that reflects the latest trends while staying true to our brides' unique styles is incredibly important to us. Also providing the proper structure as well as being a beautifully made gown. During our time at the Bridal Market, we had the opportunity to get face to face time with our favorite renowned designers, explore emerging trends, and search for gowns that we know you'll love. One of the standout trends we observed at the market is the resurgence of classic elements with modern twists. Bows, for instance, made a big comeback, adding a touch of romance and playfulness to bridal looks. Additionally, low-back designs continue to be a popular choice among brides, offering a sophisticated yet alluring silhouette. Clean, minimalist gowns with intricate back detailing were also a notable trend on display. These designs strike the perfect balance between simplicity and elegance, making them ideal for the modern bride seeking understated sophistication. Jacquard fabrics made a statement at the fashion shows we attended, offering texture and depth to wedding dresses. As we reflect on one-year since opening the doors of New Ivory, I find myself deep in reflection of the journey we’ve been on since the beginning. It feels like just yesterday that our very first bride, Anna and her crew walked through our doors. On April 29th, 2023, The love, joy, and support for Anna filled the room and set the tone for the entire appointment. Their infectious energy quickly solidified my love for the bridal industry and all the reasons that led to opening New Ivory. The Gratitude I have for every bride who has put their trust in New Ivory to be part of their bridal journey runs deep in me. From the shared laughter, emotional tears, the “yes” moments, and all of the quiet reflection in between. Every moment has been special, and has made our first year in business nothing short of incredible.
